The following are results from an independent 3rd party test conducted by Pacific Gas and Electric. Both steamers were loaded to capacity with potatoes. The Intek steamer holds 48 lbs of potatoes and the conventional steamer holds 24 lbs. The Intek cooked 48 lbs in less time than it took the conventional steamer to cook 24 lbs. The Intek used only about 1/3 as much electricity and only 1/50 as much water as the conventional steamer.

Compare for Yourself.
The Xtreme Steam saves money in water, electricity and chemical cleaning costs. That is just the beginning. You will not need to install a water line or a drain line. There is no boiler to de-lime or repair. You will not need to buy a holding cabinet because the Xtreme Steam both cooks and holds food in the same unit.
